The London schools project of last year proved to be just like the previous projects, exciting, creative and always challenging and ultimately 100% demanding of my energies and time. The three weeks passed so quickly and seemed to leave not a moment to reflect on its progress within this site. By the time I was back in Berlin the next demanding project was upon me and I missed the chance to strike whilst the iron was hot.
So as this years project is almost upon me I feel before I divulge the ideas behind that, I should tidy up the lose ends of last years. Last years project, aswell as this years project, explores the 'UN convention on the rights of a child'. It is a vast subject and can appear daunting at very first glance. What I most wanted to stress to the children involved, was which ever article they themselves wished to focus on, it was important to realize that each article for the individual must not be at the expense of others.
The pupils were to use both digital and analog cameras, mostly in small groups of around 3.
